January 28 In One PieceWell, I managed to make it through the tournament in one piece. I got scared for a bit when I made one of many sharp turns and my ankle gave a little. I only played goalie for one game and played defense for three games. I am no goalie. Hopefully, my groin pull will heal quickly and tape seems to hold up my ankle a little. Let's see what the MRI has to say. January 24 StupidityIt has been a while since my last entry. Last time I njured my ankle playing soccer. Well, my ankle is still hurt. I have an MRI next week and a soccer tournament this weekend. I know it is a bad idea to play, but I can't resist. At least I will be getting an MRI two days later. What things people do for the love of the game! Stupid. December 24 FoosballSo Friday night we went to play Foosball. I didn't expect anything. I just started playing about 3 or 4 months ago and only get to practice on the weekends. At least I can do this without hurting my ankle too much. When I play I get into the game and twist my ankle a little. It is draw your partner and I got a good partner. Thanks to Mark and my awsome defense we got second.  Yippie!!! I hope my ankle will be better for next season. I can't believe it still hurts. That's what I get for playing with boys. My injury happened the day before Fun Day. I had a feeling I was going to get hurt. At least I didn't end up in the hospital again. My pocket is still recovering from the bill and of course I got it in time for Christmas. It's a disease you know. No matter how often you get hurt you still want to keep playing. My Mom says I'm too old to be playing because it's too dangerous and that I will end up old and crippled. You tell that to all the old guys I play with. I think I'm going to go to the doctor to have my ankle checked out. I might as well make sure I didn't chip a bone or get a fracture. www.bwsl.org
December 15 Just My LuckWhy is it that every time I have a day off I have to wake up early. You're supposed to be able to sleep in on you're days off. It just doesn't seem fair.  |
